Common questions
What is a photoperiod-derived auto?
It is an autoflowering line built mostly from photoperiod genetics. The day-neutral trait comes from an early ruderalis cross, then the line is crossed back to photoperiod parents over several generations, with the breeder selecting each time for plants that still flower on age. What comes out carries the structure and character of the photoperiod side while keeping the fixed timeline of an auto.
How does it differ from a standard autoflower?
Standard autos sit closer to their ruderalis ancestor. In a photoperiod-derived auto that ruderalis contribution has been diluted by repeated backcrossing, so the plant usually grows larger and resembles its photoperiod parents more closely, while still flowering without any change to the light.
Who chooses photoperiod-derived autos?
People who want an auto that behaves like a modern photoperiod variety: a short fixed cycle from seed with no light change to manage, but plants closer to the photoperiod lines they were bred from.
Are these seeds sold for germination?
No. Sold as collectible souvenirs. Not sold for germination or cultivation. We sell cannabis seeds as adult collectables and for genetic preservation. The law on cannabis seeds is not the same everywhere, so check what applies where you live before you order. You must be 18 or over to buy.
